Jittery

Wing wrent clouds scatter into bits and pieces,
bursting contrail veins corpuscular. My entrails jitterbug
with the mechanical percussion’s jolt. Concentrating
my heartbeat, willing the machine – hang together!
Render me not into a misty red dawn today.
