  1. No matter who or what I became I always felt I was never “enough” for my mother.
    In the end, though, when she had no memories, we both came to know how much we each loved the other. Almost too late. Don’t wait as long as I did.

  2. Thanks Susanne for sharing this or else I would have missed this moving piece. And thanks Melissa for writing this. I had tears at the end.
    There are days when I miss my mother but there are more days when I remind myself not to say/do/behave/respond/react/act….like she used to…..
